This V-Max was one of the first bikes used to test the FlatBar concept. It worked like a charm.
Yamaha Models that have been installed: V-Max, FZ-1, TDM 850, YZF-R6, FZ-6, Road Warrior. So far the only Yamaha models we have found to be difficult for FlatBars conversion is the Yamaha R6, due the original clip-on design. The tube must be tack-welded to the clamp ring. We rely on our customers for tips on issues as they arise so we are able to inform you of these special cases. Keep those tips, photos and stories coming.
