Kathy's Yamaha V-Max - I've been using the Flat Bars for years now, and I haven't had any problem since they were installed. No more numbness or tingling while I'm out riding my faithful steed, a black ’01 Honda Nighthawk 750. A month ago I suggested a thumb relief would be nice to ease the stretch for people like me with small hands. Even though he was already in production, he put my thumb relief idea into the design. Really helped me out. Thanks so very much Ken!

Right hand cramping on a FJR - I just put on a set of Hunter Flat Bars, and can't believe how retarded round bars are! Since I ride a lot with Pashnit Tours, and have others' needs to consider, I can't be thinking too much about my own discomforts. Having the flat bars is a great help. They make a lot of sense, but it was a little scary having to cut off the ends of my own bars. Now that it's done, I want flat bars on all of my bikes, especially the dirt bikes-where I sometimes get arm pump.

FlatBars on the WERA Track - Thanks to Hunter FlatBars for helping with my numb fingers.

Warm and comfy Grips - Ken, bars arrived Mon. I put 'em on and wired the switch real nice etc. This AM it was 24F , I took off on a 50 mile ride, have good clothing and gloves. I could feel the bars warming, palms and fingers, wow! I've added two months at least to my biking here in this cold rain forest.

Hunter FlatBars Reviewed - I started riding dirtbikes in the mid 1960s. At 18 years old, I was diagnosed with lupus and, later, scleroderma. These autoimmune disorders cause symptoms similar to arthritis. The fingers on my hands are fairly crooked, so riding more than 100 miles with standard handgrips causes severe pain and cramps in my shoulders, elbows, and hands. Being 56 and not ready to give up riding due to the pain, I wanted to find a solution...I am very pleased with my FlatBars. They are extending my riding time by reducing my hand, wrist and elbo pain. My physical limitations are greateer than what most riders endure. I will never be pain free on long rides, but this new handlebar system has made riding better for me...

It isn't hand numbness. I really liked the feel of these grip/handlebar extensions. Simply imagine this. Standard grips are shaped like holding round bar almost as thick as a shovel handle with gloves on. Now take either hand and grab the first two fingers on your opposite hand like a grip. The flatbars are made of a soft foam/replaceable grip over a 1/2" thick ergonomic cut flat stock. The left grip can be rotated to any angle at any time. They are truly different feeling. I loved they way they feel. I'll be using them on multiple bikes. Your hands can rest against or on them instead of over them. Here are some pics of the kit.

FlatBars on the Aprilla TST - I've had them for the last two seasons and I'm very happy with them. They offer heated versions as well as a cast version that has symmetrical ends on the shorter radii, and the billet racing style with prolate (egg shaped) ends.

I've got them on my KLR650 - They do help with vibes and the KLR has more than enough vibes to go around.

B Mickey, BMW “bumblebee” GS, March 2006. Wow that was some ride. Hey Ken: Left your place and set off into what HAD to be the worst riding conditions I have ever endured. We’re talking Horizontal gusts on the Bay Bridge and almost an inch of standing water at all times, even at the apex of the Bridge! And that span has drainage everywhere! Obviously I made it and I wanted to thank you for the set up. The heated grips work and I like the bars a lot And the adjustment seems to be spot on. All the best.

Michael on his Valkyrie - I need to thank you again for fixing my flatbars on the Valkyrie, they’re now a dream to ride with. I’m showing them off to everyone who checks out the bike. I just got back last week from Palm Springs (on the bike of course) and between the flatbars and the new custom seat that 10 hour drive each way the ride was excellent. Again, thanks for the flatbars, my tendonitis and fingertip numbness problems after riding has pretty much disappeared now.

From Oregon - I am doing a review for a magazine on a product called Hunter Flat Bars. My hands are trashed from arthritis so I have been looking for a product to help relieve the pressure on my hands and wrists so I can enjoy my re-entry (20 year suspension) into my love of motorcycle riding. My initial thoughts were good, they seemed to make it easier on my wrists, especially at the 125 mile mark when I normally start going down hill with pain fast.
